AI assistance for the software that runs our machines.

I founded Chelix to bring project exploration, contextual AI assistance, and reviewed edits into a single PLC engineering workspace. It starts with Rockwell Studio 5000 project exports.

Understand the project

Explore programs, routines, tags, and ladder logic from an L5X export. The goal is to help controls engineers get oriented in unfamiliar projects and keep the relevant logic in view.

Ask with context

Ask questions in plain language with the selected program and routine available to the assistant. The conversation stays connected to the project being explored.

Review before export

Chelix presents proposed edits alongside validation findings and differences. Engineers review and approve changes before export, then validate them in Studio 5000 before deployment. The workspace works from project exports without a live controller connection.

Why I’m building it

Chelix brings together my interests in product, AI, and industrial automation. I want to make complex engineering work easier to understand while keeping engineering decisions with the person responsible for the system.
